EPA Weekly — October 21, 2021

Agenda
  • Welcome!
  • Editorial Review
      1. Update Writers and Editors directory
      1. Review and update Editors’ & Announcements Kanban boards
        1. New Submissions? If so, add to kanban accordingly
        2. Assign roles for editors to articles that need them
        3. Update kanban cards to reflect current status of submissions
  • Review Editing Framework and revise as necessary
    • Select vs Deselect: "select" for activation, "deselect" to return the option to a neutral state
    • "Click, swipe, and tap" for differentiation and accessibility regarding devices
  • Publishing
      1. Review Content Calendar and schedule accordingly
  • Discussion
    • Note from Sam: I'm wondering what we should do with the DAO submissions google form now that we have a writing test. I like the idea of being open to outside articles from other guilds and DAOs, but is that unfair with the required WG writing test? I don't have a full opinion on this yet and am curious what everyone thinks.
      • Writing tests will be administered for anyone who wants to take on Client Services work.
    • Tags for Medium articles: denote beginner, intermediate, advanced crypto articles
      • What should the tags be?
      • Async discussion on tags
    • Content calendar and post scheduling: creating a consistent time frame to publish articles: regional considerations
  • How do we measure content quality? Currently, articles are paid out by the word, up to 1500 words. Is this sufficient?
  • Governance
  • Strunk & White's Elements of Style
