Discussion
Should we rubber stamp everything?
  • we don’t have time to go into depth
  • we’re the only body in the DAO that can hold projects/guilds accountable for funding
  • suggestion: fund guilds for the season, fund projects on a monthly basis
    • then we can work with projects over the next season, month after month, for accountability concerns
  • the above suggestion may be unfair because some projects may be counting on funding
    • we should make slower, incremental changes
    • if we make changes, they should all be put on the forums
  • can we push these into two decisions: approving the budgets and distributing budgets?
  • we need to increase the cadence of change
    • people who’s jobs are guaranteed don’t work with as much and that’s what we are seeing in some of these proposals

      • What is the output of the Budget Analyst position?
        • There is no output, but TBH we probably need to rethink this
        • Would like to pull the budge analyst role out of the treasury coordinator role, because they are different functions
      • Are there overlap in these roles?
        • the financial reporting is done by one person, and all other roles go into this reporting (gathering transactions, etc)
        • ACTION: Kouros will rework the roles during S4
      • 1.2 ETH?
        • This is to have 5 ETH in total - to reimburse for gas, etc
        • At the moment there is 3.8 ETH in multisig
