Discussion
Process: How do we organize the S5 funding proposal review process?
- What is the official timeline?
- This is it https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12b77wU8VtWcMlmLL86-fKaceY_f_QmlZr_6dwabuTfU/edit#gid=0
- Expectation based on the past Season process
- Excel sheet was prepared from Ops team. This guided us through the review process.
- Last Season we used this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wmrZW30nB8ndd3TzNJW3TB5nZ0VgQ83rsyzKbnbjNbo/edit#gid=0
- Guilds were auto-funded, we want to do this again
- projects were reviewed by everyone
- this time we should split the projects among the GC members
- the reviewer can highlight if they want to discuss a project
ACTION ITEM: GC members to allocate themselves to the projects and work with the respective projects until the 26th July to have a finalized budget. Critical project budgets to be discussed in the GC weekly 26th.
ACTION ITEM: We need to figure out the accounting process for the coming Season
Discussion: Why are projects not asking for funding?
- James: this is an expression of the bear market. It kind of makes sense. It may be good to have a system to highlight problem areas that people could create a project for.
- Iced: maybe we do not have the responsibility to encourage projects to come to us. We seem to be a rather friendly GC.
- lion: We are doing a fairly good job - maybe it really a bear market
Process: Transition process for new S5 GC team
- What are the next steps to onboard new members?
- When are existing members ending their duties?
ACTION ITEM: lets invite the new members to the DM channel and figure it out with them there.
