Creating an Embedded Message

Step 1: Create a Webhook from the Integrations screen in the channel settings where you want to post the message.

Before proceeding to Step 2 notify the Info Sec team of the new Webhook and ask to have it whitelisted in Wick bot. Skipping this step could cause the Wick bot to delete your message.

Step 2: Click “Copy Webhook URL”.

Step 3: Visit https://discohook.org/

Step 4: Click “Clear All” in the top left and paste the webhook into the “Webhook URL” field.

Step 5: Create your message in the Content field and click Send when you are done.

Editing an Existing Embedded Message

Step 1: Copy the Message Link from the existing embedded message.

Step 2: Use the /restore command in Discord with the Message Link.

Step 3: Follow the link to discohook.com.

Step 4: Paste the Message Link into the Message Link field. Once “Message Link” is filled in, the Save button changes to Edit.

Step 5: Paste the Webhook URL (from the channel Integrations) into the Webhook URL field.

Step 6: Edit the Content field, then press Edit to save.
