Program Goals:
  1. Get feedback and design suggestions from students to ensure we build a platform they will want to use
  1. To recruit potential employees and community contributors for the project
  1. To recruit school ambassadors who will launch a school DAO in their schools, in tern helping us scale the business
The School DAO Student Innovator Program
Program Overview
The Student Innovator Program is designed as a hands-on, immersive experience where selected high school students get to work directly with our team to develop and refine the School DAO platform. It's a unique opportunity for students to gain practical exposure to the web3 ecosystem, understand the workings of DAOs, and contribute their insights and ideas to a real-world project.
Program Phases
  1. Innovation Phase (2 months to help with MVP development): Students work closely with our tech and design teams, participating in brainstorming sessions, sharing feedback, and suggesting improvements for our platform. We leverage their perspectives as end-users to ensure we're creating a solution that meets their needs and is attractive for their peers.
  1. Ambassador Phase (3-4 months): Students transition into ambassador roles, where they are tasked with launching a School DAO at their respective schools. This involves promoting the concept, helping their peers understand the platform, and coordinating the first set of proposals and votes. They'll receive guidance and mentorship from our community management and marketing teams throughout this phase.
Recruitment Strategy
To launch this program, I suggest the following steps:
  1. Outreach: Partner with high schools and educational institutions to announce the program. Leverage social media, tech and education forums, and web3 communities to spread the word.
  1. Selection: Students apply through an online form, describing why they're interested in the program and how they plan to contribute to it. Shortlisted applicants are interviewed over a video call.
  1. Onboarding: Selected students participate in an introductory webinar to understand the program expectations, the [Your Project Name] mission, and the basics of DAOs and web3 technology.
  1. Program Launch: Students are assigned to teams and mentors, marking the official start of the program.
Long-term Strategy
The most engaged and effective interns could be offered roles as part-time employees or community contributors, ensuring a pipeline of passionate, trained individuals dedicated to the mission of [Your Project Name]. Furthermore, successful School DAO implementations can serve as case studies to attract more schools to adopt the platform, aiding in business expansion.
