marketing liaison role
it has really helped the translators guild improve on the type of content they translate, it has also encouraged more participation of members being onboarded to the guild…..
the process of bringing contents down has been easy and there was really no roadblocks at all ,except putting the designs on canva file which I have suggested to the guild and it has been solved.
in my opinion, it has been a great initiative going forward. t are the link to the contents translated below.

- I had a bit of a slow start - I believe I could have used with a small training into the role from the previous role holder
- During my time in the position I reorganised and updated the governance page with the role holders, kept the Weekly Recap up to date, made new pages for every meeting and role holder meetings, for the role-holders meetings I kept the notes myself, made a table with the bounties for the bounty manager and helped me fill in some of them.
- Generally speaking I think I managed my position decently
- However, I think I should have stayed better on top of my duties and better up to date with the guild

Project Management Role - raybankless
- Season started with 3 projects in progress, that was great.

- Glossary
- WeAreDAO Translations
- WeAreDAO is a bounty based project. It seems like there is not much to do for the project manager in those kinds of projects. may be that is because our bounty manager is doing a good job 🙂 Just make sure they have notion page and watch the progress week to week.
- Constitution is a translations only project. We used crowdin (free version) as a translation tool for that project. Crowdin works great for translators and proofreaders. But as i realized recently in the free version we can not use the reports to see who translated/proofread how many words. I thought we can gather that info from some other part of crowdin but i think i was wrong. We may need to pay the bare minimum to be able to see the reports. Also we need to be sure if every participant is able to use crowdin when a project starts. we can do “how to use crowdin” workshops during the season and prepare some documentation to be sure about that.
- Glossary is another translations only project, we used separate excel sheets for the teams. That worked but crowdin is better if we pay for it.
- In the constituiton and glossary projects i have learned that it is hard to be sure that every participant will be as enthusiastic as they are in the ideation phase of the project. It is important to keep the pre-study phase fast. probably the idea get colder by the time passes. and not every participant may not have the same bandwidth when they first learn about the project. In this regard, it may be better to start the projects with smaller number of languages, and add languages after finishing the first batch. This would make us better at committing to our deadlines.
- Projects became a very important part of the guild since we implemented them in the translatooor tag. But we had some gaps in our framework that people were able use to get the translatoor tag and join the coordinape. I tried to fill the gaps in the update i made to the framework. I had less comments on the update than i expected, so go comment 🙂
