SUMMARY

We have discovered a “glitch in the matrix” via printing technology available from Metafactory. We seek to use this opportunity to create a pioneering NFT-Merch drop that generates revenue for the DAO.Our success will establish Bankless as a pioneer of crypto culture and innovation in the space.

The NFT artwork will be the Daopunks created by DAO member Crypto Bushi. Each NFT will be redeemable for a physical shirt with the actual NFT data printed on the shirt. Daopunks is a new community that will spread DAO values and culture

This will drop will lead into a 2nd drop that will include artists from 25+ leading DAOs. Our mission is to show the incredible creative potential that is unlocked when DAOs work together. Both drops will be done with Metafactory who themselves are a DAO

Our original plan was to use the previous Daopunks smart contract. However it is not possible because the current contract does not allow for editions. 

A new ERC721 smart contract needs created and the cost to deploy it is 0.45 ETH. At current prices this is 15k BANK 

NEED 15,000 BANK

40% - Bankless DAO

40% - Artists 20/ 20 - Crypto Bushi / Sinjun

10% - Coordinape Round for project contributors

10% - Devguild Treasury

Addendum to splits on 9-27-21

We have decided to create a "public goods" style grant that will fund people who want to move from a default job into full time dao work. The grant will function as a bridge and assist onboarding talent into the dao ecosystem. It makes sense for us to delegate a % of our primary sales to our treasury for this from the very beginning. If we take 25% from each split then we can have a robust 25% grant fund. 

We will plan to raise the initial mint price above 0.1. If we sell above 0.13 then everyone will still be making more than in the original split. Funding a public goods project like this will also be great press for Bankless DAO.   

We need approval for the new splits:

25% - Public goods Grant

30% - Bankless DAO

30% - Artists 15/15 - Crypto Bushi / Sinjun

7.5% - Coordinape Round for project contributors

7.5% - Devguild Treasury

Profits are after paying production and shipping expenses to Metafactory. Estimating $70 per unit including shipping

Any leftover profits will goto Coordinape round

1190 NFTs will be sold for 0.1 ETH (mint price)

Profit share lasts until end of merch redemption window and includes secondary sales in this period.

Mint NFT, in 2 weeks redeem window opens, redeem your NFT for a free shirt at Metafactory

After redeem window closes all profits go to Crypto Bushi and Daopunks treasury
