BankelssCN Governance & Remuneration Proposal

The new banklessCN Started in Oct 2021 in response to bDAO IMN's S2 initative, now Twitter account and substack has been set up to meet KPI1.
It is up to each international node to decide how they would run their operation but the there will be a point of contact (Champion) who is ultimately responsible/ accountable for the node for season 2 (Oct 21 - Dec 21) and presume by end of the season, Champion role will be open for application again. S2 BanklessCN champion is Ts Words (Tony).
Since I'm only one man juggling life, job and other DAOs, I propose that for season 2 Bankless CN adopt a DAO structure and agree on a governance methodology to build sound foundation and pave way for perpetuity of the channel.
Navigation & Workflow
BanklessDAO built its Wiki on Notion, therefore BankelssCN should also utility notion to document all progress, records and proposals. Action list below:
- Our current notion page requires an good makeup for ease of navigation for existing contributors and new contributors.
- Contributor list shall record all participating members for communication and remuneration
- Office backlog shall record all tasks and documents pending action, particularly which document in being translated or pending review to avoid double up. One should always refer to the backlog before starting new translation
- General Business page should cover all other business or ideas that is relevant to the operation of BanklessCN
- Both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese translations are accepted and whoever pick up the translation job first gets to decide his/her preference.
- All communication in CN channel and Notion shall be in English for consistency and interpretability with IMN coordinator or other IMN.
- Translation Workflow
- Translator general channel will announce new weekly rollup/ decentralized art/ decentralized law newsletters, or better, subscribe to BanklessDAO official newsletter to notified first.
- Contributors create weekly rollup/ decentralized art/ decentralized law newsletters job tab in office backlog noting intention for translation. Translation work shall be documented inside the tab for ease of access.
- Once translation is completed, head to CN channel and ask for reviewer. Reviewer shall add his name to the corresponding notion tab and move the tab into "under review".
- Once review is complete, reviewer shall notify the original translator for comments and the two shall agree on a final version.
- Reviewer notify Tony, who then picks up the final version and publish on Substack. End workflow.
Roles
Defined roles help us understand contributor's skill set and can be reference for engaging conversation on specific topic. I propose 2 roles below:
- Translator - Contributors interested and available in translating bDAO weekly newsletters or other content. This role will be imperative in fulfilling KPI 2 for this season.
- Marketer - Contributors interested and skilled in marketing and growth hack of BankelssCN twitter and substack account. This role is also Critical in achieving KPI 3 our growth target for further funding.
Budget and Remuneration
Unlock KPI 1 = 10,000 BANK
Unlock KPI 2 = 4,000 BANK / month x 2mth = 8,000 BANK
unlock KPI 3 = Low 2,500 x 2mth = 5,000 BANK or Max 10,000 x 2mth = 20,000 BANK
Budget Senario:
- Worst case unlock KPI 1,2 = 18,000 BANK
- Standard case unlock KPI 1,2,3 on 25% mtm = 23,000 BANK
- Best case unlock KPI 1,2,3 on 100%mtm = 38,000 BANK
Budget Proposal:
When we reach 63 follower by end of Nov Senario 2 kick in.
When we reach 100 follower by end of Nov Senario 3 kick in.
When KPI is reached fund is unlocked end of month so payment end of month tracking back work done. I think we should aim for scenario 3 that is to have 100% month to month growth, 200 follower end of Nov and 200 Follower end of Dec .
Tony will be the point of contact receiving fund from IMN coordinator and distribute to contributors end of month.
Since bDAO encourage "work first, pay later" outsourced marketing should be negotiated on case to case bases (KOL or other Chinese media outlet) and BanklessCN will be demanding result before making payments.
