  • Intro Types of call
    • Stewards update. Stewards are different from the executors of the public goods workstream. won't expect them to be operational
    • Operations + Strategy call - (PG Funding Ops Call) more for quick updates on where we're going for this. goal will be to walk through with each person where the squad is and what they have for the group.
    • Tactical call - public library, grants ops. Kyle set up every other week to work on it. then grants will eventually have more tactical calls on a daily basis. public goods PR with Lani. Fundraising squad to track where the fund is coming in.
      • Grants Tactical bi-weekly - Kyle and Annika.
  • Discord (Kris): Miro link to board
    • will have different 'level's. drive contributors to the typeform so they don't get lost in the Discord
    • when people apply as a contributor what do they see?
      • support channels
      • Public goods' channel is for people who have filled up the type form (L2: DAO applicant)
      • Everything is linked to roles

  • Public Library (Linh)
    • maxing out capacity
    • Youtube is currently being streamed on personal account. should be done on Gitcoin instead.
    • what is the criteria for acceptance to roles?
    • Scott- PR is awareness, onboarding is the work itself. could flow into more aspects too. depending on operational capacity to push public goods, how do we leverage that too
    • also lots of people are asking Linh about what the purpose of the library was
    • Simona - every distinct avenue should have its own set of purpose vision mission to which people can look towards and say this is my vibe this is what I want to contribute to, each one for sections and flows and verticals so people can step into roles they like. find out from people when they join in terms of people maybe skillsets and what they want to contribute to. so they can land or jump in to. what does the library want, where do we want to go what kind of contributions so people can read it.
    • Scott - workstream mission set by egregore post. how do we help these grantees (overall funnel) and there's broader aspects like public library to propagate ideas and content
    • Simona - we need the map of the territory, like quadratic lands. and we can see how we can travel.

  • Public goods PR (Lani)
    • document for PR plan
    • start hosting twitter spaces (recurring) and first one scheduled for 15th Nov 21 with Griff Green
      • Scott - suggest pedro from walletconnect
    • art program around GR13
      • Scott - sync with Kevin because MC is using art for all this
    • but once we launch some of these exhibitions it'll be 2 squads

  • Fundraising (Scott, Kyle)
    • merge more into the ops stream especially for people who have been running these rounds
    • walkthrough operational flows for GR12
    • touchpoints from user experience perspective to hearing about the round, deciding to fund the round, funding it, follow up with impact
    • Michael led GR12 proposal, historically ask fire eyes to work with the community to put together so we can get the community. post on Gov forums. goal is to start seeing how to shape GR12.
    • current proposal is here: goal is to seed to the community how we want to use the matching funds gitcoinDAo has collected
    • working on MATIC and ecosystem rounds. each round has operations that need to be done. like grants eligibility policy. how do we make sure marketing is happening. and co-branded marketing. they're being tracked in Notion and Discord.
    • Kevin - the goal of the experiment (lumping together the main rounds) was to see if the QF mechanism is as good at allocating the capital in a large round as smaller rounds based on our taxonomy of grants.
      • ethereum(dapp, infra, community) -> main
      • climate, longevity, tech advocacy) -> causes
      • (uniswap, forefront, etc) -> ecosystem
    • Annika - cause round or themed round?
      • could find a new way to figure out how to rank these rounds like how Forefront did it
      • $write race fatigue, if we do it consistently, if every round there's a race there'll be some fatigue
      • Forefront was going to allocate 50k to thematic rounds
    • Ryan - staking GTC on ranked stuff
    • Scott - if you're actively working on a round in a tactical squad, join these conversations

    • Annika - assets on scope of round or what we can share with people
      • freedom of the press foundation, back to the future etc has a clearer theme. climate is a bit harder. people are looking here for potential grantees and to help promote them
      • longevity is being run by VitaDAO goal is to get research labs to work on it, with fight for the future, and rejuvenation roadmap
      • who is setting eligibility policy, currently is left to an organisation to decide but it lies on whoever is executing on the road. right now we have to lean on uniswap to tel lus what is being done
      • growing partnerships eg with DeveloperDAO
      • Didi university in Dubai wants to work with Gitcoin got connected through buddhistgeeks. chose gitcoin as target for all her students and web3 initiatives. sent 10 UX students to get onboarded and expect final report on that. getting university credit, each of them landing in different workstreams. will run bootcamp and use scaffold-eth as a curriculum. getting university credit on that also. artists in 3D AR and VR will work on greatestlarp. Local sheikh came over and instructed the university board to meet with her and she has been given the opportunity to form a long term or permanent partnership with Gitcoin.
      • a lot of us are just YOLO-ing partnerships. Notion, we don't have a place beyond grants to track and prioritise these. what about educational approaches.
