Understand the WHY
Simon Sinek once said, "People don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it."
This is as true for writing as it is for any product.
Here are 3 ways to categorize the WHY before writing your next post:
📝 Knowledge Communication
➤ To transfer information or understanding to the reader
➤ The why: to inform, to explain, to educate, to instruct, to analyze
📣 Persuasion
➤ To present a point of view with the aim of convincing the reader to change
➤ The why: to persuade, to critique, to advocate, to argue, to market, to sell
✨ Expression
➤ To share (from within)
➤ The why: to express, to tell a story, to reflect, to imagine, to inspire, to describe a feeling, to entertain
