Specs for the Editorial:
Writers will receive 2000 BANK for headline pieces that are published in the newsletter.
Goal 500-750 words (up to 1000 if needed). Authors voice should be clear and concise but otherwise in whatever tone fits you're writing style. Intended audiences are other DAOs and people looking to join DAOs.

Operations
- Cadence: Publishing week (we publish once every 2 weeks): Mon - Finish Draft, Tues - Finalize Draft, Wed - Publish
- Editor: 1000 BANK for editing and reviewing editorial
- Writer: 2000 BANK for writing the editorial
- Author: 2000 BANK for curating the newsletter
- Payment: Payments are made monthly upon publication and not submission. Payment will be distributed by from the Newsletter Team Multisig
- Publication: Article will be published by Siddhearta on Substack and subsequently emailed out to subscriber list
- Meetings: Meetings won't record minutes atleast in the beginning. At least the editor and author should be on the call. These will happen every week regardless of whether it's a publishing week or not.
- Founding Docs: Siddhearta is project champion and funding is allocated according to this proposal for Season 2.
Growth Plan
The growth plan is agreed upon with rough consensus on the weekly State of the DAO newsletter call. It can be finalized and submitted for additional funding if required after reaching consensus with the full writers guild and proposal has been submitted.
Season 2
Season 2 will be for "State of the DAOs" to learn what works and doesn't. There is no focus on monetization. Figure out how to bring in writers, what the audience likes, finalize a good template, build relationships with sources, and figure out processes.

Season 3
Season 3 we look to monetize the newsletter with quarterly sponsorship and paid sponsors for the DAO Spotlight, jobs and events sections, while adding more editorial pieces to the newsletter.

Season 4
Season 4 we could look at starting to do the externally aggregated articles internally with the assistance of the EPA, which would require additional funding. Maybe predicate this funding on the newsletter performing well on it's KPI in Season 3.

Season 5
Season 5 we could look at starting to building content strategies in other formats such as blogs, social media, podcasting, ebooks, etc. Basically making State of the DAOs it's own media node.
