This will provide some good data and visibility, and standardize our compensation structures. This is to better organize ourselves by using guidelines. Design

- Had some issues with a POAP that was created using someone else's illustrations. Now working on new onboarding process with terms and conditions - must be agreed to by each contributor in order to produce content for DG and to accept any bounties
- First draft to be submitted next week
- This is going to be a big thing
- Design Governance; working in new reelection process. Looking at integrating new people in the roles every cycle. There will be a period in which new members will learn how to do the job.

Education

- Looking for people to create intra-DAO tutorials that benefit Edu Guild or the whole DAO and can be used as cross reference in other documents. This is paid, so if you do a tutorial you'll be included in the upcoming coordinape round from the Education Guild. Fin will allocate at least 10 GIVE to six highly polished tutorials
- Building an infrastructure to offer educational services in a more streamlined manner to third DAOs (both product and dao contributor facing). Contact ManuelMaccou🏴#6974 if you want to help out.

Legal

- The first issue of the Bankless DAO Monthly Newsletter is ready and is undergoing editing!
- The launch will be on October 27 and we will need to have the support of the entire community! Perhaps we will ask for an announcement as for the other newsletters. Please subscribe and support us!
- I would like to thank Jalaj, Drllau, Hirokenelly, SchwarzeKatze, TaxPanda, Bauhaus, GC and LarryFlorio for their contributions. Thanks also to Siddharda who helped us to understand the newsletter format and who gave us some guidelines.
- The legal Guild is now working to implement a proposal for a Bankless DAO legal entity. Next week we will organize a dedicated meeting on the matter
- Legal Guild is also working for the implementation of a DAO contributors’ agreement. This week we got some requests from the Design Guild.
- Guild is going quite well, lots of work and it's conceptualizing new ideas.

Operations

- Guild and Project Gating == Need to have Guild/Project role to see category channels (each category’s Start Here channel is visible) OR firehose tag
- L2 Contributors - Please select firehose tag as default. You will likely be tagged across multiple guilds/projects. This will reduce friction
- Guild/Project coordinators - Please update your `start-here` channels to let new members know to get a tag from #guild-select and #project-select
- Geography channels have been gated. Need the Local Ambassador tag (in #guild-select) to view. Removed geography roles (over 50% of roles) to reduce clutter. Can add them back if needed, but it’s an ops lift to add a new geography each time
- Guest passes - 7 day lifetime. Can be renewed by any L2 Contributor. In the future, will check for Discord activity and automate being reapplied.
- Ops Working Session - Thursdays from 4-6pm EDT (Good for beginners looking to learn Ops responsibilities and break things while we’re around to fix). This is a great way for you to get involved if you're new in the ops guild.

Treasury

- The Treasury Guild would like to start tracking the budgets for all guilds instead of the guilds themselves so we can have someone in the Treasury guild specifically for that purpose.
- Working on the quarterly report
- Two proposals to solve low liquidity in BANK
- The Olympus pro proposal has a consensus of 86% in the forum so it will be moved to Snapshot next week.
- The Tokemak proposal will be ready for the forum later this week or next week.
Writer's

- We’re growing! Our Talent Scout Samanthaj has been busy onboarding new members and getting everyone primed to take on writing and editing for the DAO. If you’re interested in getting started with the Writers Guild, get connected with Samanthaj. She’s available in #writers-general and offers office hours during the week to answer questions in real time.
- DAO blog submissions are open! Link here. You do not have to be a member of the Writers Guild to write for the DAO! The EPA reviews all submissions and works with the authors on the material coming through.
- The Editorial and Publishing Arm (EPA) of the Writers Guild is picking up speed! We now have a content calendar to schedule article submissions when they’re ready to be published.
- Currently, we have our main weekly meeting on Mondays at 5:30p UTC, a governance call at 7p UTC, the Newsletter Team syncs up on Thursdays at 4:30p UTC, and the EPA meets on Thursdays at 9p UTC. Lots of opportunity to get involved!

DEGEN

- Shoutout to Bounty Board for moving this forward and making it happen.
- The POAP rollout continues! Earlier this morning, the DEGEN hopped on a call with some 10 people from the POAP team for a training and demonstration. Special thanks to Humpty for coordinating the training, Brian for presenting, and the Zrowgz and Steff for having us ready to host the event.
- DEGEN support server ready to go. If you need help go there!
- We’re working with Legal to get our docs ready for verification. Thanks to our partnership with POAP, we will be arriving very quickly at the server limit and want to be ready to apply for verification so as to support as many servers as possible, as early as possible.
- We’ve set up a support server to assist with DEGEN questions, issues, feature requests, and training. We already have people from other servers popping in with questions and ideas. Our POAP training this morning happened there and went off without a hitch. Huge thanks to Zrowgz, Steff, and Apollo for absolutely crushing it on the support side.
- We recently pushed an update to DEGEN that corrected a mechanism with how Guest Passes are handled. Guest Passes expire in 7 days (you'll be reminded of it before it happens). Prior to this update, Guest Passes were not being removed automatically. This has been corrected. If you’re active, reach out to your Project Managers or Guild leaders for renewal whenever it comes up. Any Level 2 Contributor can renew your Guest Pass for you.
- SCOAP Squad is live in the DAO! This feature is designed for project lift. The feature itself will be undergoing some changes in the next couple of weeks as we understand how it’s used, and as we work with other projects to see how this can be leveraged to augment labor management across the DAO. Special thanks to Tiki for building this out.
- We have weekly dev syncs on Tuesdays at 10p UTC and Wednesdays at 12p UTC. If you are interested in getting involved with DEGEN development, please drop in to either one of these meetings. Special thanks to Brian for getting these up and running.

- This week we hosted Pickle Finance to discuss the state of DeFi, governance, and what the future holds for it. We celebrated the recent purchase of $300k worth of $BED by Pickle Finance.
- Additional processes for developing the podcast have been defined: our dedicated sound engineering team includes Soundman and Eureka John who produce high-quality outputs of the discussions we host every week. We now have a research team that is working on developing the outlines for scheduled events. Sponge is leading that initiative with newly added Mitch and McGuyverWannabe. Next up is transcribing the podcasts that will facilitate developing a blog, SEO to bring a larger audience to the show.

- DAOversity is a culture initiative that is being designed to celebrate diversity and empower people across DAOs.
