SUMMARY
This project seeks to create a basic web3 content resource library for BanklessDAO education and outreach. This idea sprung up from the needs of the International Media Nodes (IMN) to deliver easily digested basic content to their respective audiences. Crafting short articles that can be translated and published in all nodes is a very efficient model compared to each node creating it’s own onboarding content. During the scoping phase it has also become obvious that other parts of bDAO have a need for this kind of basic content.
During S4 the goal is to produce 8 written pieces within the categories Web 3, NFTs, DAO-life and Crypto basics.
BACKGROUND
So far the IMN project has been focusing on publishing banklessDAO and HQ-newsletters. BanklessHQ content and the bDAO newsletters are fantastic of course, but they presume that viewers already have some basic level of crypto and web3 knowledge. Also, the content is western and developed world dominant. This is to be expected given that Bankless was started in the US, and the majority of DeFi enthusiasts are investor-class westerners to begin with.
However, research shows that developing nations and less stable political regimes are perhaps the places with the highest crypto adoption metrics. By creating content that is specifically targeting people that are just about to start their crypto journey we want to maximize onboarding in all the IMN-nodes.

We all know our mission by and creating a library of basic web3 onboarding content seems very much in line with our bDAO goals.
By utilizing the IMN network we maximize the reach of the content we aim to produce.
The project will provide opportunity for a lot of the DAOs members with more than 150 separate bounties.
SPECIFICATION
Content creation
Easy to digest for an audience with 0 previous knowledge of web3. Around 1000-1500 words maximum depending on topic longer is not necessarily better!!
One of the indirect goals of the project is to incentivize more people to start writing for bDAO. The reason is twofold, we want to unlock more talent and we are hoping that a more geographically diverse pool of writers will unlock new perspectives on certain topics.
Example if we write about inflation, someone from turkey of Argentina might be able to provide more flavor since they are experiencing hyperinflation.
The actual process has not been set in stone yet and we want to leave room for iteration once we get going. We are hoping to end up with a process that makes coordination as easy as possible. Right now, we are looking at these three main steps for content creation.

Translation & Publishing
Regarding translations we have been put quite some time into thinking about if the translations part should be posted as a bounty within the translators guild or if both translation and publishing should be sent straight to the respective IMN-Node. There are pros and cons with both. The pros of doing it within the Translators guild would mainly be larger visibility + a chance for new bDAO-members to start contributing with translations. The cons are the added complexity and coordination when it comes to quality and the added admin of keeping track of 30 bounties + payouts instead of 15.
We there for propose that both translation and publishing goes to the respective IMN-node. Nodes will then publish the newsletter to substack or website + at least 1 social media account.
Archive
The project will be the starting point of a library of basic onboarding information. This can then be used by anyone for anything. The most obvious use case will be for new nodes that
ROLES
Project manager – X BANK / Week Responsible for making it all happen, will also be a part of the editing team.
Administrator and Treasury– X BANK / Week Will be responsible for setting up a good archive structure, meet notes, multisig and payouts

DELIVERABLS & KPIS
The main deliverable will be 8 written 1000-1500 word long, easy to digest, onboarding content pieces. To be translated and distributed through the IMN nodes, and possibly also on the new bDAO website.
In the process the project will provide a vide range of opportunities for different members to contribute through the following bounties and tasks:

All assignments will be paid upon completion of specified tasks according to following KPIs:
Content creation
Provide outline: 500 BANK x 3 applicants = 1500 BANK
Write piece: 4000 BANK

Total 5500 BANK per piece x 8 = 44 000 BANK
Translation & Publishing
Translation and publishing: 2000 BANK per piece = 240 000 BANK
(The IMN project already has bounties for translating newsletters, another way of doing this would be to make these texts count towards that and we could pay only for publishing, say 1000 BANK).
