Intro
- Before we get into the crux of the conversation could you give us a short intro on how your interest in the crypto space first begun ✅
- How did you then end up working with FTX? ✅
- How was your experience working there?
Episode Questions
- What does one say to FFTDAO Ghana members? ✅
- How is it that the best source of information is Twitter? Is this how the entire crypto industry is or its just the FTX issue? ✅
- Like you said, trade secrets are a part of company ran industries, this I think is clear evidence that exchanged are very much web2 interpretations of crypto, which does not inherently solve the core issues for which crypto was intended to solve. ✅
- Africa is often catching strays when it comes to issues of this magnitude, or should I say more specifically, when it comes to money, why is that? ✅
- Can that kind of platform not be created by Africans? What stopping us?
- African politicians are already sceptical, what do we tell them now? How do we plead our case as a continent when we continue to be so drastically affected by what others do? How do we operate and function in this space in a way that does not alienate our needs? What hope is there that we can build in a space like this, when we continue to be collateral damage in such a debilitating way? ✅
- Now of course all this happened with a centralised exchange, not a decentralised one, do we then need more DEXs or we need more education on financial hygiene? ✅
- So what do you do now, you have lost the community, your role with the organisation and like you mentioned, savings ✅
- I know this may be a difficult question given how much we all continue to be affected, but in 3 words, how do you feel about the space going forward?
