We need to take this grant, design a research project around it, write it up in a very professional way, let us review it, and then submit it.  Please submit a sample of past analytic/critical/technical/research writing to Shaun/dancingpenguin.eth to apply! 4,000 BANK bounty.

The grant is at: https://aavegrants.org/.  I’d read everything under “Learn more”  in that webpage, and the FAQ.  We are likely applying for the smallest category, a “rapid grant”, but might apply for the “grant” category if your research proposal is especially large.

I’d reccomend writing a research grant along the following RFP’s

v3 Usability : Now that v3 code and whitepaper is out, we need to make sure people understand what concentrated LPing looks and feels like. With more options and power, comes a greater responsibility to be aware of your capital being deployed efficiently and effectively. How can we ensure that users are not only aware and informed, but prepared for market fluctuations For example, an algorithmic management for LPs to optimize price, profit, and/or efficiency (credit to @_jamiis).

UNI Treasury Management: There is currently over 1 billion dollars in UNI sitting in the community treasury. We would like to see proposals on how to best manage this massive endowment for the benefit of the protocol. For example, a proposal to build a robust treasury management committee, similar to the UNI grants committee. Such a committee could devise strategies to manage capital and/or improve the protocol. Could the UNI treasury be diversified, could it be used to provide liquidity to pools? Submit your ideas! (Note: This project is best done quantitativly measuring risk)

UNI Documentation & Onboarding

While there is an abundance of resources for trading on Uniswap, basic concepts ranging from "decentralized exchange" to "yield farming," are still gibberish to outsiders. If you are currently working on educational content or have ideas on how to make onboarding easier, submit proposals for how to make Uniswap concepts and fundamentals more widely understood! This can take any form and can be for anyone from wall street bankers to elementary school students.  (This could potentially be a qualitative design ethnography study, focus group study, etc.) 

Governance Upgrades:UGP came as a result of successful community governance and coordination, however it is still the only proposal passed. How can we make Uniswap governance more engaging and more easily activate community members? For example, would it be easier if the threshold for proposals were to be lowered? Can we empower various community members or organizations to activate different parts of the ecosystem? Let us know if you have any ideas to improve the experience for everyone else! (Think interviews to find pain points, giving them best practices from other, compariable governance structures, etc.)
