USE CASE: weekly design headers
- Writer's Guild need a way to ensure design quality - We have 5 designers that we like, can we just use them?
- Maybe gate them via a role - i.e. "WG Approved Designers"
- But what about specific styles for specific articles?
- ACTION: links reach out to Hiro about this
- ANSWER: he would choose a specific designer for a specific piece
- What is the value to the writer’s guild on this use case?
- The potential time savings
- Hopefully the automation process would create a paper trail, bounties don’t fall through the cracks
- Ap0ll0 has spent so long tracking down an artist's wallet address!
USE CASE: writer's guild intake test
- the bugs from first run were fixed!
- ACTION: Samantha to put writer's guild intake tests into Bounty Board again
Apollo re: Academy content work
- People who he uses for content don’t have an intake test
- The team he has has the right intentions and goals
- Current Process
- Weekly meeting, they discuss bounties/work to be done
- example: Keywords and definitions they want users to know
- 2 weeks ago, they came cup with a list of 89 words
- they had a poll and voted on which words each person wanted to define
- Only people with content role could vote
- Multiple people do each definitions
- They put the work bounties in notion (kanban card for each person with words they chose) - this can be tedious and time-consuming
- They create a google doc w/ definitions, they put a link to doc in the kanban card
- Then Apollo puts it in a universal document where he puts ALL definitions from all people
- Then at the weekly meet they decided which to use, how to tell the user, then came up with slides to explain
- Again he created a poll for each slide, then content team votes on which slides they want to create
- He makes kanban cards, they make. Google doc can be easily attached
- He made 15 kanban cards and it took him 3 hours - he has a better process now, but it's still tedious work
- Only working on one course right now, so the process is manageable
- But 6-9 months from now, they could be doing 2-3 course at one time!
- No way he can keep up with this
- He could see using the bounty board for gated roles -> similar to the polls. People can just accept the role and bounties they want to do
- Potentially makes this process faster
- Would allow him to avoid a lot of his manual process
- He’s willing to try it - he has some slides coming in now for knowledge check questions - this could be 10 additional bounties in the next 2 weeks
- he needs gates roles and the copy mechanism
