What's next to get the MVP launched ?
- Yves: Thanks Zberwaldt for getting the API content setup. Thanks for Theophile for the content sprint. We still need some work on the tags and cover visuals. Launch date on the 8th of October would be great.
- MrPackman: Not as confident as 2 weeks ago on the technical side. There was not a lot of Dev activity to fix the issues that came up through testing.
- Yves: Anyone who can pull that off I would incentivize to get there. Is it possible technical-wise?
- MrPackman: There hasn't been a lot of conversation about this, so not sure. I don't know yet. It's not easy to do project manager in a DAO. I would need some feedback of how difficult it is to make sure if we should fix it or not.
- Yves: Are the issues influencing the User Experience?
- MrPackman: all the issues are in Github. Foxyblocks worked on some. Missing the Education Guild in Tags is the most critical one. If it's too complicated, maybe it's better not to try and still push it.
- Zberwaldt: will check if I can tackle some of these before the end of the week.
- MrPackman: I'm not sure how we go about for pushing out the site.
- Zberwaldt: DevOps has to push out the site.
- Yves: Do we need more devs to help for the soft launch?
- MrPackman: Let's grab the issues in Github that we can do ourselves by tomorrow. If there is more work left, we can do an SOS to the Dev Guild and Icedcool.
- Zberwaldt: maybe we can create some bounties to do that ?
- Yves: A pity we didn't find a way to make the Web3 Wallet useful. We had good feedback in the beginning when I created the demo, but more feedback when we soft-launch will be interesting.
- MrPackman: There wasn't enough time to find a good way to use the Web3 Wallet. When I did the test request, I used a feedback form, maybe we could use that again for more feedback when the site is live. There was more feedback through the form than in the discord channel. It's better to do it this way so we can go through it slowly and don't feel we need to reply immediately every time there is a feedback message in discord.
- Yves: Is everyone here happy with the website and is it good enough for softlaunch ?
- Shoosh: It's pretty much good to go. A few things still to fix.
- Zberwaldt: Personally I'm proud because I've been working on since the beginning. Still a lot of areas where we can improve, but we'll do that soon.... About the Web3 stuff, it will come with other projects that will use Web3 and will get integrated
- Joel: I'm new here and am listening here to see how I can help. I can't help with the Web3 stuff. I'm still learning. I can work half an hour or an hour per day but I also still have my daily job. Using the bounty board is a good thing to make other people outside of the website project help too.
- MrPackman: I mentioned this already to a few people. The website manager role is growing and I have a lot of stuff outside the DAO and will be backing off. I started the process to find someone else.
- Yves: Thanks Mr Packman for all your hard work, we all love you and we appreciate that you are not just quitting and helping to find someone to replace you.
- Yves: Theophile we'll call later today or tomorrow for the content.
