This document helps with Gitcoin Passport's marketing efforts by providing a comprehensive set of questions that help the marketing team understand the target audience, highlight the unique value propositions, and effectively promote the newly shipped features.

Open communication and collaboration between engineering and marketing is key to the successful promotion of any new feature of Gitcoin Passport.
  1. Who is the target audience for this feature? This will guide the marketing team on the best channels and methods to use when promoting the feature. Is it Integrators, Stamp Providers, or Passport Holders?
  1. What problem does this feature solve AND/OR how does this new feature improve the experience of Gitcoin Passport to this audience? Understanding the user pain points that the feature addresses will help the marketing team frame its messages. Share any numbers about how much better this makes an experience if applicable (e.g. “Reduces downtime by 10x”)
  1. Does this feature support any of the unique value propositions of Gitcoin Passport? (Select all that apply)
    1. Ease of integration: The fact that Gitcoin Passport can be integrated with just a few lines of code.
    2. Effectiveness of Sybil prevention: The fact that Gitcoin Passport has the ability to aggregate various identity solutions like BrightID, POAP, ENS, etc., into a highly effective Sybil-reducing solution.
    3. Developer flexibility: The fact that we offer our integrators the freedom to create their own solutions, instead of being confined to our default Gitcoin Grants-based prevention algorithm.
