Data and analysis on US competitiveness in web3 (1)
An often-made argument is that the United States is at risk of losing its global economic edge. This is fueled by the idea that builders in web3 are less likely to build their projects in the United States than they have been in previous tech booms.

Weβre looking for original research and/or data to either substantiate or debunk this claim. This might be:
- An analysis of the movement of developer talent in web3 overtime
- A study of where most venture funding in web3 is going, compared to venture funding into tech broadly over the last 20 years
- Representative surveys of where web3 companies are being founded and most of their employees are

The above isnβt a comprehensive list, but rather a jumping off point for potential research studies on US economic competitiveness in web3. Weβre particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a data science background or analyzing this issue through the lens of academia.
