About Bankless Consulting

Welcome to Bankless Consulting. We formed as a sub-entity (sub-DAO?) to Bankless DAO in November 2021 with a mission to create external revenue streams for members of Bankless DAO through the delivery of Professional Services and web3 tooling to external parties.
 
We seek to leverage the talents of Bankless DAO to deliver projects to external parties while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations related to commerce and taxes across any regions where we do business.
 
There are clear guidelines related to organization, membership, code of conduct, conflict resolution, governance, and financial implications, which were created and voted into effect during Bankless DAO’s 2nd Season (roughly Q4, 2021.)
 
Our official launch coincides with the start of Season 3, after which our primary focus will be on delivering high impact project work for clients that have a shared mission, vision, and values that we hold. Contributors that are looking to become involved in Bankless Consulting can expect to be working on projects for external entities, and working within the frameworks laid out by this project. Remuneration will be highly correlated to the value of the work provided on these client-facing projects. “Back office” work that will sustain the organization is funded by these projects, and the teams and compensation are expected to remain slim.

Legal Standing
Bankless Consulting is a Delaware Corporation, that uses on two layers of governance. Off chain, we are an LLC adhering to the laws and regulation of the land. On chain, we work within the construct of the governance framework that was ratified by the Bankless Consulting Team.
Segments
We have 3 business segments with objectives aligned with the Bankless mission of onboarding 1 Billion people and creating a strong decentralized community to support the mission.

Internal Offices
Our back office functions are divided into 5 offices, each with an elected office head. To get involved in one of our back office functions, please contact the office head to see where you can pitch in. Internal office remuneration will be limited, and is not expected to be a significant source of compensation for contributors.

    • Mandate - review contracts, draft MSAs, ensuring background checks are carried out, IP protection, etc

    • Mandate - website, social media, marketing initiatives, business development

Bankless Consulting Associates
Bankless Consulting Associates have voting rights and are considered core members to the operations of the business. Requirements for becoming a Bankless Consulting Associate can be found here in section X (pg 18).
 
Bankless Consulting Contributors
Bankless DAO members that work with Bankless Consulting on projects are considered contributors. They are entitled to remuneration within the context of the project they are working on.
Associate onboarding cohorts will be coordinated monthly for those contributors that wish to become associates. More to come.

Bankless Consulting was founded in 2021 as an entity with a mission to allow for self-sovereignty of professionals working in the Web3 space while aligning with the Bankless mission to help one billion people go Bankless.
We believe in the future of decentralized money, and we believe that blockchain technologies and decentralized governance will disrupt all businesses in the decades ahead. We see the beginnings of this paradigm shift and want to play a large role in advising and implementing solutions that will unlock the infrastructure of the future.
Given our backgrounds as technology, management, and development consultants along with our passions and expertise in this nascent industry, we believe the impact we can deliver as an advisory partner is outsized compared to any group in the world.
We strive for independence. Independence from corporate monoliths; independence to work on projects we find interesting, challenging, and impactful; independence from traditional thinking.
We are Web3 native, and know that the pace of change is measured in minutes, not years. Our commitment to learning is based on our inherent inquisitiveness. We strive to share this knowledge with the crypto-curious, and help other organizations be early movers in the blockspace.
We are committed to continuous education of our contributors, making sure they are always learning, and always sharing this with our clients. We believe this creates the curiosity and drive to solve the challenge of onboarding organizations and individuals onto Web3.
We want to attract the best talent fleeing traditional big consulting in The Great Resignation. We want to create the mechanisms for people to be paid fairly, transparently, and based on decentralized governance.
