Hello Gitcoiners! Peer Review takes place in 3 parts: async written feedback, 1:1 session with a peer (i.e., workstream lead, talent coordinator, or another peer with high context for the work you do), and a live group session to discuss insights from the process. You can always ask Sandy or your Talent Coordinator about the process.

Forms FOR COPYING:
  1. Peer Review Form [to share with 3 peers]
  1. Self Reflection Form [for you]

Audience
All core and any trusted contributors who opt-in can participate in the peer review process.
Setup
  1. Choose 3 peers with high context for your work to review you. Reviewers could be project or initiative owners or contributors who have worked with you over the course of a season.
  1. Every 3 months, a round of Peer Review is activated.
    1. Phase ONE: Ask 3 reviewers to fill out a copy of the peer review document over the course of a week. At the same time, complete your self reflection document.
    2. Phase TWO: Review and reflect on your completed reviews and reflection, and share them with your workstream leads and/or talent coordinators. These reflections will be the basis of your 1:1 conversations about your performance.
    3. Phase THREE: We’ll have a live session to go discuss insights based on the feedback received.
      1. Note: Live sessions are optional and at the discretion of the workstream.
Live Group Session (optional)
Come prepared with a few points from your async feedback experience that you feel comfortable discussing live. Some guiding questions:
  1. What have you learned about yourself through this process?
  1. What were you surprised by?
  1. What pathways to improvement do you see?
  1. What support or resources would you like access to for your improvement? (
    🌟
    Professional Development
    is available!)
  1. What feedback does the team need to witness?
  1. How are your committing or recommitting to growing as a Gitcoiner in the next season?
