Review Notion Members and Guests RE: Notion’s New Pricing

The Problem:
Notion has changed their plans and billing and it means we have to make some huge changes on our end as well.
- The plan we currently have is the Plus plan. It’s still $8/mo, but now is being limited to 100 Guest Collaborators.
- This is far less than our number of active collaborators, so we need to do some pruning.
The Data:
Current Paid Members (14)

Current User Count/Guests (597)

Current Notion Admins (16 so far)
- This includes only those who have been accounted for in Trewkat’s search to update this list for Season 6.
- There are no contacts listed for any projects, so this number is likely to increase
- As new guilds, departments, and projects come online, we’re going to need a growing number of Guests to manage each group’s pages
Goal Paid Member Count (5-6)
- Account owner
- BanklessDAO Tally Integration
- DAO Notion Admin (and backup #1)
- Backup person #2
- Backup person #3

2) Upgrade billing plan from Plus to Enterprise
This increases our billing from $8/person/month to $20/person/month, but unlocks more powerful security and analytics features. We can make this shift to solve existing analytics needs, tighten security, and maximize our Guest Collaborator cap, all while keeping the monthly billing nearly the same as we are currently playing.

3) Re-permission Group Admins using new granular permissions
Let’s see how the new settings work first.
4) Begin the Guest review using Notion Enterprise analytics
Analytics tools coming soon, it says. Soon™.
5) Develop best-practices documentation for Guest maintenance
This will require some exploration of the new Notion Enterprise tools. It doesn’t make sense to create documentation before we have the tools, so we’ll need to wait on tackling this for now.
