Once you have an amount of BANK held by the Collab.Land bot, you can use it to tip other BanklessDAO members in the BanklessDAO Discord!
Note: This will not work for members who have not connected their wallets to Collab.Land.

You can receive tips from others and use that balance, or deposit tokens yourself to start tipping others.

How to Deposit Tokens From Polygon Network

In your Direct Message with the verified Collab.Land bot, type !deposit and Collab.land will reply with three network options.

To deposit BANK to your Collab.Land wallet from the Polygon network type the command: !deposit 137.

There will be two addresses shown:

The first address is the one that will hold your funds on the Collab.Land sidechain. It is not possible or necessary to change this one.

The second address is the one you are using to send the funds. It is called the ‘Accepted Deposit address’. Update this address to the one that belongs to you by clicking the ‘Click Here’ link.

You MUST update the ‘Accepted deposit address’. Replace the default address with your own Polygon wallet address. If you do not own the address listed, funds will be lost.

Once you've updated your address, double check the addresses by typing !deposit again.

Copy the first address — your Collab.Land address — (in this case, 0x9f377baa2221c45f981FE8B4821B89b83d518e36) and then using your preferred wallet (e.g. MetaMask) send your deposit of Polygon BANK (mBANK) to that address. Make sure that your wallet is connected to the Polygon network and that you have enough of a balance to cover the transaction (gas) fee as well as your transfer amount.

🎉 Congratulations! You now have mBANK deposited with Collab.Land and can start tipping others!

You can check that the funds were received by typing !balance in your Direct Message with the Collab.Land bot. The amount should show on the right side of the bot response.

How to Tip in the BanklessDAO Discord

Tip a member using the following command (you must be in a channel, not a thread): Type /tip sendand the prompt will come up to choose a network e.g.

Complete all the details to finalise the tip.

Collab.Land bot will confirm in channel:

Collab.Land will also DM the tip receiver in their Direct Messages:

Ignore the user names - they are from two different tip transactions

Check Your Balance

As above, you can check the balance of tokens held in your Collab.Land by using the command !balance in the bot DM, or /tip balance in the #bot commands channel.

How To Withdraw Funds From Collab.Land

NOTE: Withdrawing from the Collab.Land wallet back to Polygon will require payment of a gas fee.

To withdraw, use the following command in the bot DM: !withdraw <token symbol> <true|false> (Optional) (true = pay trx fee from token value.)

Eg. !withdraw mBANK true

When prompted, type in your destination wallet address on the Polygon network.

Collab.Land bot will DM you to type in how much mBANK you want to withdraw:

If the gas fee is acceptable to you, reply accept

If not, reply reject to cancel

🎉 Congratulations! You have withdrawn the BANK (PoS) token to your own wallet on the Polygon network.
