    Intro
    • Atsu Davoh is the founder and CEO of Bitsika, a payments app for Africa that is commonly known as the Cashapp for Africa. Known as Thee Pivot King on Twitter, Atsu is currently building ear1, which seeks to help creators make money.
    Episode Questions
    • Who is Atsu Davoh, outside of the forward thinker that we publicly know you as? ✅
    • For those who have never heard of Bitsika, can you briefly describe what it is and how it may align with the mission to be bank-less or have more control on our financial abilities. ✅
    • You and I have of course been speaking off air and you mentioned the possibility of Bitsika gearing towards being a peer-to-peer platform, what can you share on that? ✅ (you heard it here first! a bankless africa exclusive)
      • As per an article by quartz, Africa now accounts for 70% of the world’s $1 trillion mobile money value. The value of Africa’s mobile money transactions edged up 39% to $701.4 billion in 2021 from $495 billion in 2020, with 800 million of that transaction volume being from Nigeria. Would being a p2p platform in any way compete with the existing mobile money apps? Or perhaps put up a challenge to them? ✅
      • Is Bitsika poised to tap into being the bridge over to crypto for these users who clearly want ease of access and a freedom in personal financial control?
    • You once said 2020 was going to be a big year for crypto, what markers would you use to gage how this year is going to be? ✅
    • What is the endgoal for bitsika? You make bitcoin and crypto more accessible to people and then what? Is there a specific eureka moment that you are looking for? ✅
    • Mobile vs pc optimisation for the crypto space
      • Mobile devices generated most of the web traffic in Africa, with a share of over 70 percent in May 2022. Laptops and desktop computers had a share of 25 percent ✅
    • You mentioned that you have had to pivot multiple times, do you ever feel like you could potentially regret the line of work you chose? ✅
    • I know you are looking for a trustworthy dev ops, how can folks reach out to you or your team if they have recommendations? ✅
    • In 3 words, what do you have to say about it now, realistically from what you have seen and now know? ✅
