How to use Praise

Praise is a Discord bot + website which helps promote posi-vibes by allowing individuals to recognize each other.

How to Give Praise

Go to #hype-and-recognition on Discord

Type /praise and fill in the receiver and reason

you will need to run /activate if you haven’t already run it

Bask in the warm feeling of recognizing your teammates

How to Quantify Praise

To encourage people to give Praise to each other, we compensate people who are recognized in BANK for their efforts.  But not all praise is the same…some outcomes have a higher value than others.

That’s why Praise has a “quantify” system.  You can read more about the Quantify system here.  

If you are selected as a Praise Quantifier, you will be told in Discord.  Here’s how you quantify:

Sign into https://banklessdao.givepraise.xyz/

At the top of the page, there will be a callout for quantification. Click on the link

You will be presented with a list of your teammates who have received Praise. Click on the first person

Rate each Praise by moving the slider on the right. The further to the right you move, the more value you believe that the receiver created for BanklessDAO through their recognition.

It’s based completely on your personal feeling, so just rate however you feel.

When you’re done with this teammate, click on the next teammate’s name to rate their praise

After you’re done rating all teammates’ praise, click “← Back” at the top of the page. You should see all teammates have been rated on the list
