Notion Backup Requirements:
- Administrator Rights for the BanklessDAO Notion workspace
- 40 GB minimum free drive space
- Notion Backup Credentials (Email/Pass: https://vault.banklesscard.xyz/)
Download
Navigate to BanklessDAO Notion
- Open Web Browser and go to https://notion.so
- Left Panel, top title should state BanklessDAO Team Plan.
- Locate Teamspace and Open for Export:
- Two Teamspaces will be need to be backed up under General:
- BanklessDAO ( estimated 27 GB)
- Archive ( estimated 150 MB)
Export BanklessDAO Notion pages
- The Export option is found at the Three dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen of the Notion top bar
2. Find Export on drop down menu.
- Export Options screen.
(Mark Include subpages and Create Folders for subpages)
- Export
You will see the progress status prompt. Once this process is finished. Notion will send a Download link to the email address that is associated with your Notion account. (Time between clicking export and email is approximately an hour and a half.)
NOTE: Notion’s sever may sometimes hang and not send email link or download. Try again.
- Download
- Use link contained in the email.
- If browser window left open at status screen when compilation finished the download may start.
Upload
Login to Skynetfree
- Follow link - Skynetfree.net (Storage UI)
- Locate MY ACCOUNT
- Login with Notion Backup Credentials
- Pass
Remove old files
Perform Unpinning process, unpinning essentially deletes a file. Unpin the oldest backup on the files tab to maintain 3 months of backup after upload. (Free hosting limit at 100GB)
New upload
Upload Drag and Drop file or Locate File.
(Browser Screen will need to remain open until upload is finished or will need to start again.)
Document Skylinks
As way to decentralize access to files if front end fails. Place a message in Notion Workstream chat like the one below.
Post the hash portion of the skynetfree.net/ “skylink” to Discord #notion-workstream channel, located in Ops Guild category.
This is a visual indicator that Notion Backup has been completed for the month.

Notice how to first portion of the address is omitted.
