Answer three questions when giving feedback to others:
1️⃣ What’s the main point?
2️⃣ What’s a strength?
3️⃣ What’s an improvement?
 
 
2️⃣ Going Deeper:
The feedback provider should answer three questions when giving feedback:
  1. Does the essay clearly communicate the main point? What is it?
  1. What is the essay's greatest strength? (ex: specific paragraph, style, clarity, quality of analysis).
    1. Strongest: the most informative, interesting, and clearly written
  1. What is a specific improvement that the writer can make?
    1. Reasons for improving: not clearly written or could use clarification
