DIMO Initial Bounties
In short: DIMO is looking to Bounty Board to engage their growing community.
New Contributor Bounties
The purpose of these bounties is to facilitate the connection between organizers and new talent. They should help potential contributors self-select into teams where they have the most impact. Bounties should also help organizers find and vet talent in a repeatable way. To that end, the bounties should be:
- Low-barrier - To ensure any inspired contributor can find a bounty to plug them in. Any verified user should be able to claim.
- Small - Low-reward and mid-effort (max 1-2 hour) tasks ensure contributors actually care.
- Valuable - Even a small value to DIMO sets up a win-win scenario.
Suggestions
You can set bounties for each team (from Discord and GitBook). These bounties should be created by the person handling talent intake for each stream of work:

- Governance - Read up on the DIMO DAO governance model on GitBook and our Blog. Write about a challenge we may face with our governance model, and how we might face the challenge.
- Tooling - Tell us about a gap you see in our tooling and how you would go about fixing it.
- [d]Token - Read up about the $DIMO token on our GitBook and Blog. Speak to the tokenomics of $DIMO - what’s your opinion on the economy of $DIMO and how it might evolve? Speak to any strengths and weaknesses you might see.
- [d]Platform
- [d]Hardware - Name one potential technical issue of our hardware platform, and how you would go about mitigating the risk it represents.
- [d]Green - How can DIMO use NFTs to further our cause? Describe the scheme in detail.
- Review the DIMO GitHub. Submit an improvement(s) that could be made on one of the repositories.
- [d]Product
- [d]Analytics - What’s one metric of which you think DIMO should keep track. Why should we track this particular metric?
- Describe a new feature that you think DIMO should release, and why DIMO should take it on. Describe how you’d go about implementing it.
- Growth
- [d]Community i Ideate a campaign to engage potential contributors to DIMO. Describe your strategy and tactics.
- Apps - Submit an project you think that DIMO should take on, and describe how you would go about implementing it.
You can set up a "general interest" bounties for people who want to contribute but don't know how. These should be created by a community manager or anyone else who can help route the contributor to the right place for their talents:
- Create a meme about DIMO and post it in the #memes channel. Get at least 4 reactions on it.
- Submit a project you think that DIMO should take on, and describe how you would go about implementing it.
