S20 Treasury Management Policy
Treasury management S20
For S20 MMM will increase its stablecoin holdings from 25 to 50 %. Due to an increased need for USDC to pay contributors, contractors and real world expenses via our Rain virtual cards. We will also move away from DAI and only swap for USDC during S20, due to demand.
Summary
- Convert a total of 50% of the MMM S20 budget into stablecoins (100 % USDC)
- Conversion will be done using limit price swaps on CowSwap. (Over 7 days)
- Option to convert additional 5-15 % of our treasury with price spikes (10 %+) of initial token price at the budget deposit.

All transactions will happen in the multisig, no funds will leave the multisig. Removed for us to be more agile in how we can serve our contributors the best.
No conversion from stablecoins to GTC will happen. Removed for us to be able to acquire GTC if needed.

The goal of our treasury management is to limit downside, not speculating and trying to catch any potential upside.
