#WeAreDAO Social Media campaign

Being inspired by the #WhyWeDAO and #HowWeDAO campaigns, the International Media Nodes project decided to launch a Social Media campaign under the #WeAreDAO hashtag!
The objective of #WeAreDAO is to shatter some prejudice typically surrounding DAOs that the collaborator teams solely consist of developers, people with background strictly in IT and people extremely knowledgeable in crypto. We believe that to get rid of this false perspective on DAOs it would be very helpful to showcase the diversity of backgrounds, experience and skills possessed by DAO members. For this we will conduct a series of short interviews with DAO members from different Guilds and Projects and will post these on Social Media. Using the extended network of the IMN we will further distribute the interviews translating and posting them in each Node’s language on their own Social Media channels.
The interviews will consist of several short questions and will aim at keeping the anonymity of participants as much as possible while at the same time telling the story of their professional and educational background, current location, reasons to join DAO and or others.
The duration of the campaign is the entire S4. There is an idea to involved other Guilds such as the AV Guild and or the Designers Guild.
To encourage participation, the IMN will distribute a free POAP for all campaign participants.
We might have a recap of the campaign of some sort such as a short crazy story that includes one detail of every interviewee’s answers, eg. :
Anon is a professional stuntman who lives in Costa Rica, had no idea about DAOs before joining bDAO but is now deep into the rabbit hole. He has 7 children, 3 of whom adopted and likes to do pottery in his free time.
We might have a custom Chippi made for our Anon or have one of the bDAO artists create an NFT which we can then mint. - Just ideas, all tbd!

To create interest and showcase the diversity of backgrounds within a DAO.
- To bring attention to the IMN project.
- To grow our Twitter follower base.
- To create interest around Web3, the future of work, and the bDAO.
- To share with the world that everyone can join and contribute in the DAO because a more diverse talent pool means more POVs and insightful input.

- What do you do now and in BanklessDAO and for how long you’ve been in bDAO?
- What has your professional journey been until you joined the DAO?
- Why are you bullish on bDAO?
- What are the things that bDAO has given you or help you?
- Tell us about your hobbies
- Would you like to share where you are located (or your time zone) and something more about your personal life?
Interview process:
Could be just sending the questions to the interviewee and do it async. Another option is to do a live chat, or even a (recorder) call, depending on what the participant prefers.
