I’ve been having inconsistent luck with getting export links from Notion when attempting to archive the whole site. Instead, I’ve taken to downloading the site in compartmentalized chunks. This provides three advantages:
- We can better manage our file storage and monitor for bloat
- Each group’s site size can be graphed over time to reveal trends or threats
- Backups can be approached in a decentralized manner
