Teacher Pitch letter drafts
Dear Principle,
We are a group of blockchain and IT professionals and we would like the opportunity to propose a learning initiative for the students at …… school.
With the ever increasing percentage our lives being based online and in the digital world, students will need a well balanced understanding of many different technologies, to ensure they are best prepared to succeed in the fast changing world that awaits them when they leave school.
We recognise the great strides being made to incorporate many technologies in school life, and we would like to contribute to the expansion of these skills and technical understanding with an introductory course on blockchain technology, web3 and DAOs (Decentralised Autonomous Organizations).
We would like to propose hosting a 5 module introductory course to interested students. We have attached an outline with this letter for your review. The final module will involve setting up a student owned DAO, making a proposal that is focused on improving the lives of the students in the school or the local community, voting on the proposal and, if passed, working with teachers and school management to enact the proposal.
We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you in person at a time of your convenience. I can be contacted at or by phone on 08…...
To fix:
- Lenght of the course
- The course is free for the school
- Governance should be a key point in this letter

Dear Headmaster,
I am a former literature teacher converted to tech and together with a group of experts in IT, blockchain and web3 we would like to propose an educational project for the students in your school.
We believe in the values of decentralization, transparency and self-organization that are at the heart of the web3 world and that we would like to see applied within school facilities as well. In particular, our initiative is aimed at equipping schools with governance tools through which students can take an active part within the school's decision-making processes ("Freedom is participation" said Gaber), within the limits set by the schools themselves.
In addition, given the increasing percentage of time that students spend online, we would like to provide them with an educational background on the latest technologies with which they will inevitably be confronted as they develop, to ensure that they are prepared for and have a competitive edge in the fast-paced, ever-changing world they will find when they leave school.
We recognize the efforts that institutions are already making to incorporate technology within school life, and we would like to contribute to the expansion of this skill set with an introductory course on blockchain technology, Web 3 and DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), the new decentralized, non-hierarchical organizational form that is revolutionizing public and private sectors.
The course we are proposing, whose outline you can find attached, is structured in 4 modules, the last of which consists in the creation of a DAO by students, the generation of one or more proposals to improve student life in the school or local community, a vote on the proposal, and, should any of them be approved, their implementation together with the teachers and the school management.
In addition to offering a free tool for student participation and self-organization within school structures, we believe that this pathway can also provide students with the following benefits:
- Digital identity and entry into the web3 world that will become the dominant paradigm within the next 10 years
- Possession of new tools for entrepreneurial activity
- Opportunity for students to create projects even outside their educational institution and raise funding for their implementation, either for the betterment of their local communities or for contributing to collective causes (fighting climate change, protecting the environment, social causes, etc.)
- Creation of self-organized projects by students from different educational institutions: the project is international and will be launched simultaneously in institutions in different parts of the world, and it is our intention to connect all students who have participated in the educational course and the process of DAO creation.
The course is completely self-funded and free for both school and students.
Should you be interested for your institution, I would be glad to discuss the project with you to provide you with all the details and answer any questions you may have.
Sincerely
Pierpaolo Totti

Dear Principal,
We are a group of experts in IT, blockchain and Web3, we would like to propose a learning initiative for the students in your school.
We recognize the efforts that institutions are already making to incorporate technology within school life, and we would like to contribute to the expansion of this skill set with an introductory course on blockchain technology, Web 3 and DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). If you are not familiar with DAO technology, please check out this informational video for reference - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBNgmwGk01c.
We believe in the values of decentralization, transparency and self-organization that are at the heart of the Web3 world and would like the opportunity to introduce the students of (…….) to the industry, the technology that underpins it, and the potential it holds, via a modular learning program, tailored to the needs of the school.
Based on the Quality Framework Principles listed on the 2022 LAOS document, we believe this initiative will serve to advance many of these principles, in particular, that “Students act as agents in their learning” and the “Inclusion of all pupils”. The course we are proposing, whose outline you can find attached, is structured in 4 modules. The last one is a project module aimed at having students take an active part in the school’s decision making process. Under the guidance of our team, they will create a DAO, generate one or more proposals aimed at improving conditions in their classroom, school or local community, vote on the proposals, and, if feasible, implement them in partnership with the class teacher and/or the school management, within the limits set by the school itself.
Should you feel this initiative can be of benefit to the students of your school, I would be glad to discuss the project to provide you with all the details and answer any questions you may have.
The course is completely self-funded and free for both school and students.
Best regards,
Fintan Murphy

Self organization, democratization and inclusivity at the heart of the technology we are promoting.
With the schools approval, we would like to start by getting an understanding how students currently interact and use the technology available within the school, via either one on one remote interviews or via a focus group. Once we better understand these elements, we will design a web3 learning program for the school, to include a project module whereby, under the guidance of our team, they will create a DAO, generate one or more proposals aimed at improving conditions in their classroom, school or local community, vote on the proposals, and, if feasible, implement them in partnership with the class teacher and/or the school management, within the limits set by the school itself.
