ShapeShift Initial Bounties

This is based on a review of the DIMO online assets: Discord, GitBook, Website, and Blog.

In short: ShapeShift is looking to Bounty Board to help get new contributors started by having a central listing of places to get started.

New Contributor Bounties

The purpose of these bounties is to facilitate the connection between organizers and new talent.  They should help potential contributors self-select into teams where they have the most impact.  Bounties should also help organizers find and vet talent in a repeatable way.  To that end, the bounties should be: Low-barrier - To ensure any inspired contributor can find a bounty to plug them in.  Any verified user should be able to claim.
Small - Low-reward and mid-effort (max 1-2 hour) tasks ensure contributors actually care. 
Valuable - Even a small value to ShapeShift sets up a win-win scenario.

Suggestions

You can set bounties for each stream of work (from #role-selector and forum).  These bounties should be created by the person handling talent intake for each stream of work:

Globalization

What’s an issue that is preventing ShapeShift products from being used in your geography? Describe how we can fix the issue and increase use in your geography.

Translate the latest tweet from @ShapeShift_io into your language of choice. Feel free to tweet the translation from your account, tagging us.

Progressive Decentralization - Identify the most critical piece of ShapeShift which is still centralized, and describe how you would go about decentralizing it. Be sure to speak to the process to get there, including roadblocks.

Partnerships - Which organization do you think ShapeShift should partner with next? Describe the potential partnership and why it’s good for ShapeShift. Bonus if you can get the conversation started with the potential partner!

Engineering

Review the ShapeShift GitHub. Submit an improvement(s) that could be made on one of the repositories.

Submit a technical project you think that CityDAO should take on, and describe how you would go about implementing it.

Marketing - Ideate a campaign to engage potential contributors to ShapeShift. Describe your strategy and tactics.

Product - Describe a “missing feature” in one of our products. Tell us why you believe it would be valuable. Be sure to describe the target users and potential impact.

Security - What’s a product security risk for which ShapeShift should be looking out? How can we harden our system to protect ourselves?

Operations - Given what you know about our products, share with us a potential operational (i.e. uptime) issue in any of our products. Discuss the potential issue and how you would go about mitigating any down time.

Tokenomics - What is the biggest area for improvement in FOX’s tokenomics (i.e. liquidity, treasury management, etc)? Share a plan to improve FOX’s tokenomics.

You can set up a "general interest" bounties for people who want to contribute but don't know how.  These should be created by a community manager or anyone else who can help route the contributor to the right place for their talents:

Create a meme about ShapeShift and post it in the #memes channel. Get at least 4 reactions on it.

Submit a project you think that ShapeShift should take on, and describe how you would go about implementing it.
