Goals
- Improve the design and UI/UX for the Bankless Loans Project.
Discussion
- Let the FLOC designers take a look at the figma files. The existing files support the Liquity system, but we want to give them a more Bankless DAO look in terms of base colours. The figma files design looks a bit dated. Maybe there is a more efficient way to ship it with less screens and a better UI/UX.
- Yves: it might not be easy to simplify the number of screens but the salt and pepper is definitely needed. The simplier/easier it would be, the better actually. What is super important is to explain the risk.
- OverAchiever: UI/UX is important. In these Figma files, Liquity shows all their features but it can be confusing
- MrBirdman: It must also be easy for the user to monitor their funds.
- Abstrucked: There exists a feature now that you can get a notification to your wallet.
- MrBirdman: If we put Bankless DAO branding in the picture, people can get the feeling that they help us reach the Bankless DAO mission to onboard people to go bankless.
- Yves: crucial is: 1. Educate users on how it works and what's the risk. Maybe give only the safe amount option to borrow, we never want to push our target audience to an amount that is too risky. 2. Make the use simple and clear ( uniswap style ) 3. Guide users on what they can do with their stablecoins ?
- Abstrucked: what is not risky now can be risky in future when marketconditions change.
- OverAchiever: Let's finish the discussion of the design with Jesus. Can Floc help and how does the schedule look for you, Jesus ?
- Jesus: We like the project, could be ! ( problem with microphone )
- MrBirdman: I joined DevOps, so we can work on back-end stuff for Liquity and use that for other apps in future too.
- MrBirdman: In a way it is starting from scratch but we can re-use code that we already have. Chakra-UI has that flexibility and is used in the DAO for other projects too.
- MrBirdman: I can go through the user-stories and go through those to see what we want to keep. I can work on the notion page. I think this is the right direction to go.
- Yves: let's get a quote. If our current budget is not sufficient we can ask an extra grant.
