What did we do last week?
- OverAchiever didn't have a lot of time for the design work because of DaoPunks
- Birdman is busy fixing layout issues and small bugs in the code
- Katarina did some testing through the Vercel link. The submit button is not showing which seems to be a browser/layout issue. We like all the explanations behind the "?"'s
Jarisjames joined: new in crypto, swingtrader, loves financial freedom, into NFT's, signed up in research guild. He's joining meetings to see where he can fit in.
Cryptodad is joining to see how he can contribute. He has a financial background: due diligence, project design, no programming background. Operations in blockchain media. He might be able to help us when we are ready for the marketing.
Brainstorm:
- Birdman knows that Liquity has a really solid engineering team, so it's a good backend to build upon.
- Birdman is researching add-ons to the traditional frontend, like earning BANK if you stake. This can be an extra feature for a next version and will not be included in S3. In contact with Airbayer and Icedcool for adding LUSD to the treasury, as that will give some trust to our users.
- Abstrucked is meeting with Jeff , the admin from the EPNS discord. More and more projects are using it. MrBirdman is a bit hesitant, people need to manage their own risk and we need to be careful that they don't blame us in case of liquidations. We need a big disclaimer.
- Birdman is discussing in Dev Guild and DevOps about ENS. Most of the sites are nextJS, so fleek can be an option, and he is starting conversations with Brian and the rest of the team. The Fleek Pro version is only 40 $ per month and should be more than enough for all BDAO projects. Yves: The free version could potentially already be enough. A good topic for JarisJames to research ?
- Birdman: there is a layer of game theory in Liquity, as you can earn rewards by liquidating people. We don't want to add that feature in our BDAO Bankless Loans Dapp though.
What are we doing next week?
- Fix last issues on trove/borrow page
- Work on the design if OverAchiever can find the time
- Start on the functionality for Staking
