What did we do last week?

Yves: we arrived at the early stage of MVP, thanks to the whole team.

Zberwaldt: we have to get an URL to get indexed. We can do a redirect and still need to use the Ghost Pro to feed the new jamstack through API.

Yves: I created the demo website with Ghost Pro and have been paying for that contract since a few months. Maybe the dev guild can get ownership of that account.

NsHuman: It would be good that whatever we use is extendable enough to maybe use with the future API platform I'm working on.

MrPackman: Ghost admin is to post articles directly on the website. A content gateway for other content feeds from Substack, Youtube,.... for ex. that could be pushed into the website could be interesting. This is not bypassing the Ghost admin.

NsHuman: will check Ghost Pro and can look into this closer to the time.

Zberwaldt: we can look into the custom integration set-up in Ghost that could push data from the content platform into Ghost.

What are we doing next?

Yves: Now we need to make sure that we open the gate for the content. Use the infrastructure that is there. Uniforming design and code and improving will be ongoing from Season 2.

Mr Packman: there are maybe still inconsistencies, but we'll work on this step by step. Please everyone take note of it and bring it up when we get there.

Yves: the writers and AV guild have the best overview about the best and new content. That is what the website now needs. They should have the keys to do this. Giving everyone the keys can be chaotic though, I believe the writers guild has to overview this.

Theophile: I'm here for the writers guild and we have a lot of content, so can start working on it.

MrPackman: what posts do we want on Day 1 ? Let's start small. Figure out the newsletter for writers guild. Let AV guild start with their basic content. Start small with each guild.

Yves: that's for the writers guild to decide. They can delete stuff from the current demo Ghost Pro and add stuff.

James: Yes, start small with minimal content. We need to empower and put certain expectations. There should be a role that follows up and is an integration partner to do the coordination. That holds everyone accountable.

Yves : for me, it makes sense that the writers guild gets this responsibility. And a project manager to overlook also for the external content.

MrPackman: The writers guild should have the major role and could do the champion role. In terms of funding, should this be in the writers guild or website project? Maybe in future this role should be in the writers guild.

Theophile: this role already exists in the writers guild, we'll check with them how to do this.

James: yes, as long as there is some pressure to keep working on the website content. As long as the website project puts some pressure on expectation.

Yves: yes, project management is budgeted. Now we need to put even more pressure to get the content side done. I asked several times but maybe not persistent enough. Everybody is so busy and maybe now that the website coding is finished it's more touchable.

Metadiego: I'm attending to see how I can contribute: I'm a Frontend and Backend Dev.

MrPackman: For Season 2, Yves and I had a call meeting before. We'll ask for a similar grant. We know what we can do with the team we have. OxHuman: content is king and a single place of truth is important. Is Ghost Pro extendable enough ? So let's align roadmaps. In the content gateway proposal I'm working on, there will be part of the budget to fix issues with the website too.

MrPackman: in the next months there will be a lot of coordination between the diffferent guilds.
