As the MMM Social Media Lead, your primary objective is to conduct market research on various organizations adjacent to the Gitcoin. This research involves diving deep into the analytics of the main Gitcoin’s social media account and using those insights to develop strategies for improving metrics on the content being put out.

Hazards

Spreading misinformation - Inadequate understanding of web3, Gitcoin, or Gitcoin products can compromise the accuracy of information, potentially undermining the company's credibility.

Low quality content - Content that fails to resonate or diminishes the reputation of Gitcoin and its offerings.

Skill Requirements

The specific skill requirements for this position include:

Web3 Experience: General understanding of the Web3 landscape and a pulse on current Web3 culture

Deep Understanding of GC and products: Ensuring coherence to Gitcoin’s present brand narrative and voice, as well as correct communication about various products

Campaign Problem Solving Skills: The ability to spot holes in campaigns, anticipate what is coming, and update campaigns as necessary

Writing skills: High quality writing capabilities and the willingness to step into content writing as needed. The capacity to condense complex technical concepts or information into a form that is easily comprehensible and engaging.

Coordination and Communication: Strong communication skills, the ability to set deadlines, and providing context

Quality control: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality design output.
