Twitter Space Management
Find Guest Participants
Reach out to individuals from Gitcoin or partnering organizations to identify potential co-hosts for a Twitter Space by reaching out via DM.
Create Telegram Group and Coordinate for the Space
Create a Telegram Group where you can work toward finding a time that works for all parties by asking for their calendar or Calendly. Once a time is agreed upon, ensure that a relevant and appropriate topic is selected and aid in the creation of the script for the call.
This process may involve multiple follow-ups via Telegram or direct messages.
Prepare Design Assets
Once the date, time, and guests are confirmed, input the information into Figma or use templates provided by the design team which can be found in Google Drive.
Schedule Promotional Tweets
Schedule the flyer and a brief description of the Twitter Space to be posted on Twitter:
- A few of days before the Space
- On the morning of the Space
- As the Space is starting
Schedule Twitter Spaces on the Calendar
Schedule the Twitter Space in the calendar, with the link to the Space in the description. Invite all relevant parties by adding their email in the Guests box.
If it is a DAO Community call, you will also need to add the Twitter Space event to the DAO-wide calendar. Notify the DAO community, through the DAO-Citizens Discord Thread, to not miss the community call. Include the date and time, as well as brief description of the topic and a link to the Twitter Space.
Share the Link to the Twitter Space
Share the Twitter Space links in advance and during the event, create Google Calendar invites, and engage in close collaboration with the guests to develop the script for the Twitter Space.
Prepare for the Space
Prior to the event, use the Telegram group to ask the speakers if they have any links they want to share during the Space.
Run the Space
Running the space will involve:
- Openijng the Twitter Space from the Gitcoin main account
- Bringing all necessary participants onto the stage before the Space begins
- Asking, at the end of the space, who has questions or comments and invite them onto the stage.
Troubleshoot and Moderate the Twitter Space
Use the Telegram group chat for real-time troubleshooting.
If a question or person is disruptive, communicate in the group chat to that we should help them off the stage. Suggest to the speaker that they express gratitude for their question or comment. Once they have, make sure to quickly remove them from the stage.
