Moderator Notes (Google Doc)
- Updated instructions on how to facilitate transitions between sessions.
- Remove all speakers/guests from the stage from the previous session.
- Transition the slide and fade in the music
- Ensure the next speaker(s) are ready to go live
- Add the speaker(s) to the scene and fade out the music
- Cue the speaker to start if they haven’t already by messaging in the chat.
- Ensure the stream runs smoothly and moderate the chat.
- Cue the speaker in the private chat when
- 5min in their session remain
- 1min remains
- Time is over
- Workshop session leaders to use Miro boards better (apps, templates)
- Enable more collaboration between session leaders
Technical
- Reduce/eliminate lag between stage and audience (stream)
- Enable chat on the stages in our app and/or provide better instructions for Youtube chat
- Enable speakers to invite audience members to the stage more easily
- Option: Add “how to invite guests to video chat & screenshare in Miro” to the session leader training workshop
- Option: Spin up separate sub-breakout rooms
- Option: Pre-authorize registered guests to join livestreams
- Resolve open issues on Github
