Thoughts and Ideas so far
ย
This is a new project spinning up as a collab between writers and translators guilds and the IMN-Project. We are developing a project plan and any and all comments are welcome! -tomahawk
PURPOSE:
Address content needs for IMN by creating/collating content for new crypto users and specialized market needs.
This content would also be perfect for the mobile app, same content in different languages and the perfect crypto onboarding material.
GOALS:
1) Perform node level market research to determine the typical finance and crypto knowledge of the average subscriber and level of competency in basic web3 concepts by category (ie: ETH/DeFi..., NFTs, GameFi) across all media nodes (incl bankless Brasรญl bankless Africa, and other non-IMN.) Contributors skilled in performing marketing know-your-customer initiatives will be quite valuable for this analysis.
- Deliverables KPIs
- Groupe of 4 people, Ninia, Marketing guild Ornella? IMN Nodes?
- Make templates for buyers persona, buyers journey and
- Analyze 5-10 buyers personas
- Decide on the best persona to write the onboarding content for
- Host a workshop for nodes on how to use them for their respective audience
- How to measure effectiveness of the content in leveling up the user, create a feedbackloop to understad what content works the best. And then that will influence the content that we create going forward and we continue to iterate
ย
2) Identify targets for the best types of content to produce that will meet each of the nodes' needs individually, for an average user competency.ย Maintain a hotlist of wanted articles or general topics that will best serve the growth of international nodes by having the right content and tone for the audience.
3) Develop a credibly neutral method of financing bounties for needed pieces. Accept open content submissions to the writers guild EPA for editing and quality assurance. Any bDAO guest pass, L1, L2 contributor may submit articles. Determine whether a multisig for the project is required or how the funds will be managed. Codify governance of this process to reduce potential for dispute.
4) (Perhaps the overarching goal is to) Maximize the DeFi adoption rate and press for additional on-target content to more efficiently and effectively onboard the first billion global users. Bounty budget for each node could be weighted by the size and growth potential of each node, for example.
5) Facilitate the seeds of a turnkey multi-language writing service in concert with Client Services for protocols who want to collaborate with bDAO's writers and translators. On. Chain. Revenue.
FIRST STEPS:
- Nicklas and Swedish node have begun know-your-customer initiative in their locality and are working with a media strategist to craft a strategic plan for surveying their audience. Potential to develop best practices or process map from this exercise to share with the other nodes.
In practice this would mean that nodes can opt in on doing a first strategic step "know your customer" analyze different "buyers personas" and create a "buyers journey". Using template that has been created + workshop.
This should end in a few core "personas" that content will be tailored for and the best channels in which to reach them.
When we know who we are writing for, we can continue with creating the content below. Texts will be written in english and nodes can slightly tweak them while translating, if needed, to fit their individual audiences.
- An exhaustive list of topics has been started (see below). This list will evolve with time and a process can be created to weight different topics based on node voting or assigning priority levels and aggregating them across nodes.
- Call for core contributors to join our scope squad and work towards formal proposal to the discourse forum and grants committee for broader DAO consensus-building and necessary funds to implement.
POTENTIAL TOPICS FOR TARGETED CONTENT CREATION:
(add additional topics here to make an exhaustive listing, we can recategorize and combine later into a more manageable set and define commitment level for each, such as a percentage of funding or number of subsidized articles to be created)
ย
An idea could be to not just write a text/newsletter for each topic but instead created content for different channels and different personas in the audience for example:
ย
If we take steps below, this could be part of what the media strategy groupe decides on.
Persona 1 - That could be written in say 1 page long newsletter posted on web + ex twitter
Persona 2 - Instagram post 5-10 pictures per topic
Persona 3 - Tiktok video
ย
It would be natural for the written content to end up in the app. One idea of structuring it that might fit the app very well would be to break it down into different learning weeks or leassons (will need cool name:)
Learn crypto in 1 week
Day 1 - How to buy your first crypto
Day 2 - Why crypto
Day 3 - DCA
Day 4
Day 5
Day 6
Day 7
Learn NFS in 1 week
Day 1 - How do i buy
Day 2 - ...
Learn web 3 in 1 week
Day 1 - ...
Learn DAOs in 1 week

Frog on media Department in comments
I can see this project becoming one part of a Media Department were we have an overarching Media strategy at the top and then we create content for our chosen social media channels in sync with the strategy. All content can then be published both I bDAO socials and all the nodes, very effective way of producing content and making sure all content is aligned. (Nicklas)
