Discussion Items
  • Challenges/Needs:
    • Ventures
      • Understanding the landscape for investment - Will they get a return on this in this very volatile space
      • Provide an assessment if a DAO or start up is worth investing in
    • Start-Ups (new DAOs, Web3 start up) - who already have seed or first round of funding. Can afford our price of min 15k
      • How do I create a presentation that will sell in the Web3 landscape to VC? How do I talk about governance or tokenomics - prep for pitch
      • Do an assessment that needs to be bridged to get funding
  • Discovery Approach - Test it out this week
    • Qualitative survey - discussions with customers, one on one to figure out what's in them why, because those discussions can be much more open-ended, they can lead into a lot more insights.
    • Action - have a couple of conversations happen, and we get insights from that, we can convert that into something that can then be administered online
    •
      Opportunities
    • A database exists of angel investors who are super interested in DAOs
    • There are many VCs that are curious about web three and trying to figure out how they fit in
    • we can offer a service where we provide them the information in terms of the landscape, and how to make better informed decisions in their funding, like, what type of projects are occurring and how to evaluate them, and maybe those who've had experience at the VC firms would know what criteria you would assess a good project
    • Leveraging our experience and knowledge within the Web 3 space, and how to better communicate that with the slide decks that they need, and then also like pathways or maybe connections that they might need to get funding so who are their best venture firms
    • Build a package worth 10k
    • Maybe launchpad maybe liquid token investments
    • we can help direct investment into a startup and we can take a more active role
    • Payment
Flat Fee, Retainer, possible payment after funding round
equity stake in lieu of upfront compensation
