How to add the polygon network to Metamask

Two options to get native $MATIC on Polygon network:

Option A) Direct from Ethereum mainnet — Use Polygon PoS bridge ~$50 for gas for PoS bridge contract then swap to $MATIC

To avoid excessive mainnet gas, move ETH/WMATIC to polygon THEN swap

Option B) Exchanging fiat for MATIC

1) Buy $WMATIC at Gemini Exchange

2) Withdraw $WMATIC from Gemini to your Kucoin account

3) Withdraw $MATIC on Polygon

a) interact on polygon network; and

b) get native $MATIC token to pay gas for minting (NOT $WMATIC)
