Because I've conceded to the idea that money matters and I want to create awesome things and I don't have enough of it.
If you gave me nothing but liquidity, at this point, given the research I've already done to get this far to be filling out this form, I could trade and do well enough. Empower me further, level me up.
I'm a very curious individual with a wide array of talents and knowledge. I'm participating in a text D&D campaign on my phone at the moment of writing this. I'm currently writing 3 books (I never thought I'd be a writer), one of which is like a Lord of the Rings or Wheel of Time type novel. I've been called a wizard by more than a few people at this point.
Because I want to explore the educational content, evaluate the contribution made by the micro manager role assigned by marketing guild and ensure FC is ok with my contribution as liasion and if there are ways I can assist with webinars beyond this pilot.
I see great opportunity for the bankless DAO thru potential revenue generated by the FC as it evolves with it governance and deal flow. Wish everyone good fortune.
FC liaison to Marketing. 77 year old trade Fi former self-certified accredited US investor. Organizer of Angel Conferences as well as sponsorship fund raiser. These business plan competitions ran for 7 years alternating between Eugene and Corvallis, Oregon.
In their early iteration, VCs were the key ingredient in promoting innovation. But off late, they've become more like "vicious capitalists" that lever up early stage projects in hopes of a 100x exit. I believe DAOs with their transparent nature can help evolve VCs to be much more effective and fair.

Early iteration of VCs were the key ingredient in fueling innovation. But off late, they've become more like ""vicious capitalists"" that lever up early stage projects and run them dry before making their 100x exit.

Overall, I'm a curious person. I like finding connections between the seemingly disconnected. I worked as a winemaker and grape-grower for nearly a decade. I've just recently shifted towards crypto and am now pursuing a Masters in Finance. I am fortunate to work with some incredibly bright leaders in the crypto space at a VC fund in an internship capacity -- always learning. On a side note, I love fly-fishing and rivers.

I am a DAO capitalist building the 2030 I want to live and work in. I've spent the past five years advocating for more diversity in VC and went DAOn the web3 rabbithole when I discovered that VCs could be built on DAOs.
When we immigrated my momâs savings turned to nothing in America bc the LATAM financial crisis in the 80s. Those early days of financial stress are what motivated me to learn about monetary history, the role of institutions and human behavior. From what I can tell about Venture DAOs 101 it seems like a good place to continue learning about various forms of capital and methods to create meaningful impact. Who I am today is possible bc of generous informal social institutions who supported and nurtured me in one form or another. I'm the talent scout for the Writer's Guild and am interested in all aspects of Web3 storytelling.
I interned at a small startup while in college and learned about VC funding, seed rounds, and getting investors on board. I wasn't directly involved with funding, so I still have a ton to learn about it. I was deeply unsettled by the goal to artificially inflate companies with cash so that they can continue bleeding money until they get purchased by a larger company. Is the entire goal to get bought, never being profitable along the way? It got very existential for me. I'm curious about how DAOs flip that model on its head!
