motivation
When we immigrated my mom’s savings turned to nothing in America bc the LATAM financial crisis in the 80s. Those early days of financial stress are what motivated me to learn about monetary history, the role of institutions and human behavior. From what I can tell about Venture DAOs 101 it seems like a good place to continue learning about various forms of capital and methods to create meaningful impact. Who I am today is possible bc of generous informal social institutions who supported and nurtured me in one form or another. That’s why I’m actively working on supporting grass roots movements through a collab w/my friend who comes from a similar socioeconomic story. https://amberinitiative.com/

I’m life long learner, artist and mentor. I’m originally from Colombia and was raised in Alaska. My background is in commercial photography. Getting exposed to the concept of licensing IP changed my socioeconomic journey. I also just really enjoy making zines and riding my bike. I’m still Alaska based and a father of two.
