Dear GCR Members — Thank you again for your continued love and support for GCR. And more importantly, a big thank you to each and every one of you for being such an integral part of our community. Since GCR launched, we’ve grown tremendously. With 7,000+ members and 30%+ MoM growth in membership, we’ve deployed $40M+ as an investment DAO in 60+ deals. We want to continue to push the boundaries of investing by setting the standard for how powerful community-driven investing can be. To that end, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the membership experience. GCR 2.0 is the first of many upgrades to come!

As part of GCR 2.0, we are proud to announce new initiatives that will better support our members and serve our broader mission. Key highlights below:
 
  1. New Membership Tiers
      • We are scrapping the ‘Alpha’ tier, and introducing a new tier called ‘Gold Pro’. The new tiers are now:
        • Pioneer (100 GCR)
        • Gold (700 GCR)
        • Gold Pro (2,000 GCR)
  1. GCR Membership Upgrade Program
      • To ensure a seamless membership upgrade process, we’ve created a DApp for our existing members to purchase GCR up to the next membership tier at an OTC price, or to claim an airdrop.
        • Existing ‘Pioneer’ (100 GCR) can buy up to 600 GCR
        • Existing ‘Alpha’ (350 GCR) can buy up to 1,650 GCR
        • Existing ‘Gold’ (400 GCR) can buy up to 1,600 GCR

Announcing ongoing support for GCR Portfolio Companies and new projects looking to raise in the Web3 space.
The Purpose of the GCR Angel Network is to tap into the power of Community Members to support our Portfolio Companies (’PortCos’) and new projects. In return for their contributions, members are eligible to be rewarded a portion of the investment carry in the projects they’ve helped.
 
We are proud to release the following features of the GCR Angel Network:
  • ‘Angel Pods’ (Marketing, Recruiting, Investment DAO), where ‘Web3 Native’ members can support Portfolio Companies for a portion of the investment carry
  • ‘Office Hours’ where our founding teams can be mentored by our experienced Partners
